When comparing Buddha and Spirit, it's hard to say which is stronger. Overall, they're fairly evenly matched fruits, each with their own unique purpose.

Buddha is traditionally very good for grinding, farming, and raiding. Spirit is also very strong for grinding, and overall, they're even evenly matched in this regard.

These are two very strong fruits for PvP combat, with Buddha perhaps slightly favoring them in power and effectiveness. Both Buddha and Spirit deal very powerful damage.

Spirit will have a noticeable advantage in combo potential, as well as knockback, mobility, and even a slight advantage in cooldowns.
Buddha boasts stronger defense, as well as versatility and effectiveness for use in the First, Second, and Third Seas. Buddha is also generally preferred in PvE.
