When to Eat?
It's recommended to start using Smoke in the First Sea (approximately from level 0-400). It will be a good helper for farming mobs. It's an ideal choice for those new to farming and grinding, due to its low price and good damage.
Don't take Smoke in the Second Sea, and don't rely on it in the Third Sea either – it quickly loses power compared to current opponents in these seas in PvP and becomes less effective in grinding.

Grinding [A-Tier], Combo Potential [B+Tier], Damage [B+Tier]

Special Features
Smoke is immune to all types of physical attacks (apparently due to the fact that it is smoke).
Smoke's special features include Smoke attacks, the ability to fly, and the ability to stun enemies with smoke. You can spam it using the so-called infinite damage in F (smoke bombs). Smoke has the advantage that all its moves stun. Overall, it's very good for the First Sea.
After Update 17.3, the skills were reworked.
Smoke is weak at range [B-Tier] max – it's quite modest, and fruits with good range can damage you from a distance without taking much damage, and smoke attacks are generally easy to dodge.
Don't rely too much on Smoke in PvP against, for example, Blizzard. Blizzard keeps its distance well; it can work against Smoke at a distance, and it has more versatile AOE capabilities. It will be quite difficult for Smoke to pull off such a matchup. For the same reason, she'll have trouble with Spirit and Gravity.
Considering mobility and speed, and the ability to dodge attacks and one-shot with counters, Smoke might consider a poor matchup with Kitsune, Tiger, and Dough. Calculate your strength.
Mammoth is a possible matchup—it's a somewhat grounded fruit, and Smoke on the ground can counter it with Smoke attacks, which will be quite difficult for Mammoth to dodge.

Smoke: Strength Guide
Player vs Player: 4/10 - Good evasion skills will help even a beginner escape, but due to the insignificant damage, it is better not to use it in PvP.
Grinding: 7/10 - Smoke is an excellent fruit that's considered one of the best fruits for beginners, and not just because it's Logia. Ideal for grinding, especially in the early stages of the game.

Defense: 4/10 - Immune to basic attacks since the fruit is a Logia.
Knockback: 3/10 - Not much knockback from smoke screens.
Cooldown: 5/10 - The recovery time isn't critical, but it can sometimes take longer when fighting more challenging opponents.
Range: 5/10 - Range estimation is heavily influenced by flight ability.
Mobility: 5/10 -
Combo potential: 6/10 - There is no strong stunning effect like many other fruits.
On the Seas: 4/10 - Very good for the First Sea. It can be used at the beginning of sea events, but is not particularly effective. It is also weak to all Beasts, unlike, for example, Buddha.
