When to Eat?
Lightning is recommended for eating in the Second Sea or later—it's great for farming mobs and bosses during this period, and works well with its area-of-effect damage.
Lightning isn't suitable for beginners, so it's not recommended to eat it in the First Sea.
This fruit is quite strong and is useful at all stages of the game. At least in PvP in the Third Sea against top-tier opponents, it can be quite effective.

Special Features
Lightning is a fruit that allows you to manipulate lightning and effectively use electricity in battle. A very powerful fruit, it can fight on par with top-tier fruits.
It's good for grinding on all Three Seas.
Lightning is strong in PvP due to its stun, long-range lightning attacks, and speed. It's mobile.
It's a difficult opponent for Rubber, due to Rubber's immunity to electricity. Despite the difference in class, Rubber can easily defeat Lightning.
It's also weaker than Gas. It can fight on par with Tiger and Gravity. It's stronger than Mammoth and Sound.
Significantly stronger than Eagle.

Lightning: Strength Guide
Player vs Player: 8/10 - Lightning is one of the most powerful fruits in the game for PvP use due to its strong damage, excellent short and long combo capabilities, and high mobility.
Grinding: 7/10 - An excellent choice for farming and grinding. It will impress with its damage and AoE, as well as its teleportation capabilities and fairly high attack range.
Area of Effect: 8/10 -
Attack: 7/10 - There are questions about the damage on the M1 attack—it's pretty bad, if not downright bad. In comparison, the Light's damage is significantly higher and more lethal.
Damage: 7/10 - This fruit has one drawback despite its pretty decent damage - Lighting cannot damage you if you have eaten Rubber.
Defense: 7/10 - Lightning users are also quite good at defending themselves, especially using Thunderstorm for AoE or Lightning Orb to stun enemies and knock them back a bit. Their other moves are also quite powerful. There are some minor cooldown issues, but they're not critical in many situations.
Knockback: 6/10 - Z (Lightning Orb) (high knockback), X (Thunder God) (very high, meh), C (Sky Judgement) (passable), V (Thunderball Destruction) (low) and F (Electric Flash) also low.
Cooldown: 5/10 - The cooldown time is quite decent and affects grinding and the level of play in PvP: Z (Lightning Orb) (7 seconds), X (Thunder God Dash) (10 seconds), C (Sky Judgement) (15 seconds), V (Thunderball Destruction) (22-25 seconds), F (Electric Flash) (6 seconds).
Range: 8/10 - A truly convenient range for maintaining map positioning and damaging enemies at a comfortable distance. It's not as rosy as, say, Control (one of the game's kings of range) or Gravity, but overall, it's great for covering the entire visible map to take out an enemy or group of enemies.
Mobility: 7/10 - Good mobility and speed.
Combo potential: 8/10 - Great opportunity to use long and short combos.
On the Seas: 7/10 - It performs well in raids and naval events, as well as in grinding, but has issues with damage at M1. If this is critical for you, it's better to use another fruit with a more powerful primary attack.
