Sound Fruit

When to Eat?
It's best to consume Sound in the later levels of Second Sea or Third Sea, at that point, your mastery will allow you to use all your abilities.
Earlier, it's definitely not worth it, Sound without high mastery is frankly weak for grinding and even PvP.
However, later, it's truly one of the most powerful fruits for PvP and quite powerful for farming and grinding.
Is Strong in:
AoE [S-Tier], PvP [A-Tier], Damage [A-Tier].

Special Features
Sound, as its name suggests, can manipulate sound waves and vibrations to deal AoE damage, stuns, and buffs via the Tempo Meter.
Filling the Tempo Meter grants a protective shield (-15% incoming damage), +50% to your already considerable speed, and +10% skill damage to the player. Furthermore, it grants a similar bonus to all allies.
Sound is, in any case, very strong in PvP and strong in grinding, raids, and can crush Sea Beasts and teamfights with enviable force thanks to its significant AoE and buffs.
It's also good against groups – here, Sound is also strong in crowd damage and multi-target damage.
Sound does have its downsides: a rather nasty stun and cooldowns, it's not very strong in combos, and it can be predictable on offense—the fruit is spammable.
Among its weakest opponents are Tiger and Yeti, as well as Lightning due to its stun and mobility, and it's good at avoiding AoE.
Sound is roughly equal to Love and Phoenix, and can fight evenly against Gravity, which makes for a rather interesting matchup.
It's strong against non-flying fruits and can take down Mammoth despite its defenses, as well as T-Rex.

Sound: Strength Guide
Player vs Player: 7/10 - The community considers Sound a fairly powerful fruit, not only for PvP and PvE, but also in general. It's recommended for PvP due to its fairly strong damage, good mobility, and ability to perform excellent complex combos against your opponent. However, if you have more powerful alternatives, choose them, as Sound is more geared toward teamplay than 1v1 combat.
Grinding: 7/10 - Sound is well suited for AOE mob farming and is quite useful in the late game. Sound also can struggles with targeting a single enemy despite the aim, which can often be detrimental in boss fights.
Area of Effect: 9/10 - The fruit is designed for AoE attacks, but it has a long cooldown and issues with knockback. [V] Glorious Harmony and [C] Symphonic Radiance are excellent for AoE attacks on mobs and for grinding. [Z] Rhapsody Notes and [X] Fortissimo can be a bit spammable but are useful for AoE.
Attack: 6/10 - The sound is overly predictable and lacks any real stun. Another downside is the long cooldowns, making it easy for your opponent to dodge the attack or dodge it completely.
Damage: 7/10 - Good damage + use combos against mobs & NPCs.
Defense: 6/10 - Sound has good defensive and damage absorption talents, but his high cooldown and strong knockback make his defensive abilities rather weak, so if you're facing a fight that requires a defensive and tactical approach, try to find something stronger in your arsenal for defense.
Knockback: 6/10 - Knockback issues significantly impact Sound's overall power, coupled with its rather long cooldowns.
Cooldown: 4/10 - The cooldowns are quite long. [Z] Rhapsody Notes and [V] Glorious Harmony — (5-7 seconds, you can even try spamming them). [F] Tempo: Prestissimo (20 seconds). Fortissimo and [C] Symphonic Radiance — up to 15 seconds.
Range: 5/10 -
Mobility: 7/10 - Good, solid mobility.
Combo potential: 6/10 - With sound you can come up with and rehearse excellent and powerful combos, but it is not suitable for very long ones.
On the Seas: 6/10 - Good AoE can help in sea raids, and Tempo: Prestissimo helps with fast movement.
