When to Eat?
We recommend eating Sand at mid-levels and closer to mid-game. It's best to eat it in Second Sea, from level 700-800. At that point, it's best to farm mobs in groups or bosses.
It's worth noting that the fruit is good for PvP beginners thanks to its sand traps and simple controls.
We don't recommend eating it early in First Sea, as it deals weak damage at that point without skill upgrades to 100+ mastery.
Is Strong in:
PvP [B+Tier], AoE [B+Tier], Damage [B+Tier]

Special Features
Sand is immune to physical attacks, but performs poorly on the Seas - its incoming damage is doubled.
Sand is a unique fruit in that it can create sand traps that trap your enemies, preventing them from moving or jumping, while you can still deal damage.
Sand is also unique in that all attacks create sand zones on the ground, which can be a real headache for your opponents, as they slow and deal damage over time.
Sand is also quite slow and frankly weak against flying fruits. It's completely unsuitable for fights in the Sea or water-related areas. They're a complete disaster.
Sand is good against ground-based fruits—the traps keep them in place. Sand is also weak against flying fruits and performs poorly against fast and mobile fruits.
It can be effective against Diamond, as Sand effectively disrupts Diamond's M1 attacks, and Tornado can knock down Diamond's shield.
It can also be effective against Love, as it can trap NPCs and flamingos on the ground.
It's weak against Quake, as this fruit's earthquakes can easily destroy sand traps and other sand zones.
It's also weak against Eagle, as it's quite mobile and fast, and can easily dodge by launching into the air.

Player vs Player: 6/10 - Noticeably strong stuns (for example, Sand Coffin), and a rather rare healing opportunity. Good fruit, especially when fully awakened. Sand is very strong in control and will be better for skilled users.
Grinding: 4/10 - Will be useful for for grinding early on due to its elemental immunity and quick moves. + Area control like quicksand and sandstorms.
